But I need to protect LMD. We respect to our Law Enforcement, LMD will not sell to minors. I strive to make available the best products I can. And I am constantly trying to make them better. I do recognize that I am not perfect and stuff happens. Here at LMD, I spend countless hours on each knife design. And work with great knife makers, manufacturers, machine shops to be able to offer these products. Everything that I ship out has been inspected and pass my quality control. Most of my products are hand made. There will be differences between each one. I want you to enjoy my products from the moment you received them to when ever you decide to trade, sell or pass it along to your children, but there is only so much that I can cover under our warranty.
If you find that one of my custom knives is not working correctly please contact me by sending an email describing the issue. Send emails to: email@example.com Please do not take the knife apart or alter the original design in any way. Please do not just randomly send your knife back to me. LMD will advise you on what we deem to be the best course of action. Those actions may include sending your knife back to us for assessment and possibly repairs. LMD will let you know if the repairs is covered under our warranty.
Any malfunction due to the end user modification, Pimping your knife,removing and changing the factory finish, will not be covered under warranty repair. Furthermore LMD warranty policy does not cover any damage caused by disassembly, abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, improper sharpening or abnormal wear. Repair or modifications performed by any source other than the custom maker, manufacturer or LMD also unconditionally void the product's warranty.
I requests all my knives be loctite before they ship to me. If you take the knife apart, you will strip the screws.
Once we have authorized you to return your product to the custom maker, Please make sure that the product is protected whether that is in a padded case, bubble wrap.
Please include a note with your name, address, phone number, email address where we can reach you to address what the issues are.
If you are returning the product-there will be a 10% restocking fee.
The minimum cost for a non warrantied related repair is $100 plus shipping unless determined otherwise. Please note that all payment on repairs, parts and shipping must be made before any product leaves the maker's shop.
I will use USPS Priority Mail with tracking for my shipping. Unless you request another shipping service. There will be a difference in price.
LMD cannot be responsible for items lost or stolen in transit for warranty service. If you need warranty service, a small payment is usually required by the custom maker and also to send the product back to you with insurance. This will be assessed by the custom maker.
We cannot be responsible for items that are shipped internationally. We will use USPS for the shipment of these packages.
